Note: This is a legacy, yet very informative, site for our Bluesdance interests upto 2005 when we took time out to start a family. In late 2010 we rebuilt and relaunched the website www.bluedance.org.uk

This site was recently rated: "Your website is the best blues site in the world ... bar none."  by a Blues dance specialistWhat do you think? We are open constructive advice to help us improve it.

Blues Dance enables intense individuality in expressing the music.  It really is all about communication, emphasizing that the music, not the dancer, leads the dance; we are simply the interpreters.  Blues Dance demonstrates the passion of the entire range of human emotions, not just the sensual ones.  When done well, Blues Dancing can be one of the most rewarding and indescribable experiences any level of dancer can have.
